My name is Keira 

(my friends call me Kez)

I’m a trans/queer musician based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, originally from Tairāwhiti. I have been making music all my life and plan for things to stay that way! I pride myself on my lyricism and storytelling, as I'm a writer in other forms as well. 

My music allies indie/alternative, folk rock, country-emo styles in an authentic, autobiographical, cohesive sound with the power to have the crowd dancing, moshing, laughing, and crying all in the same set.  

Making and sharing music is as vital to my life as my own beating heart!  

I write poems, and songs, and rants, and love letters. I want to reach out knowing hands for knowing hands and connect with everyone/anyone/anywhere... you!
